Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 Helllloooooo Boneheads! I trust everyone had a fabulous and safe 4th of July...I know I did. I headed to Reno for a little poolside relaxation and slots; it was a nice change of scenery. Summer’s flying by, but I look forward to all of the season’s fun events still to come!
As summertime is the season for love, I’ve been to several weddings accordingly. Dear friends of mine, Laurie and Drew and Dave and Gabi, united at Heavenly Resort in Lake Tahoe and Deer Ridge Winery in Livermore. Both were beautiful ceremonies followed by tasty dinners and super-fun parties. ::Sigh:: Someday, my prince will come...if anyone knows of a single prince, please let me know!
I would like to give big congratulations to my best friend, Laura Lee, upon her new engagement and for earning her Masters Degree in Business. I can’t thank you enough for your undying optimism and support. I’m so proud of you!

A couple of weeks ago, Joe Rock and I made an appearance at Jackson’s Hardware in San Rafael. We had a great time, mingling with Boneheads and checking out some great power tool and BBQ demos (now I know how to handle a drill, thankyouverymuch). LOL! In addition to signing my calendars, I got to sign arms and guitars, too. It was pretty freakin’ cool! There was a great turnout for Joe and yours truly, and for a Tuesday afternoon I might add. Thanks again to the guys at Jackson’s...you all were very welcoming.
For those of you who missed Hooterpalooza, let me just say, you missed one hell of a party! I was able to attend the 19th anniversary of Lamont & Tonelli’s time together on the radio at the Saddle Rack. It was debauchery at its utmost! World champion eater Joey Chestnut of San Jose fame and Jackie Bibby, "The Texas Snake Man" both made an appearance, the phenomenal AC/DC tribute band Long Gon Bon played, and it was all topped off by a sexy Hooters girl bikini contest. I’m already looking forward to next year, the big 2-0!
